Air Conditioning Service & Repair
About Auto A/C Repair
Your vehicle’s air conditioner cools the air coming into your vehicle using the compressor, condenser and evaporator. Your compressor is what pressurizes the hot air with refrigerant. This results in cool air. Your compressor’s serpentine belt assists in making this a continuous cycle, but these belts can get cracked and damaged. It’s important to get them checked out every four to five years. However, an A/C breakdown can come at any stage of the process. A broken air conditioner can be caused by a number of different things – low levels of refrigerant, clogged condenser, leaks or compressor failures.
Similar to other potential problems that your vehicle can face, preventative maintenance and early detection can save you money in the long run.
